حين دقّ المطرُ المعتمُ بابيْ
قلتُ: أنثى الغيمِ
فاحمرّ حصى الغاباتِ
واكتظتْ شرايينيَ بالخيلِ
تعالتْ ضجةُ الرعيانِ
واخضرتْ عصافيرُ الترابِ..

Lady of clouds
When the gloomy rain knocked on my door,
I thought: it’s the lady of clouds
The forest stones turned bright
My veins now fraught with wild steads,
The heard is charged with life & sound!
The birds of earth turned green
|
